According to to Sao Paulo advisory body JobEconomiaePlanajemento company 2012/13 (April to March) Brazilian cane ethanol exports to the United States could grow by up to 29%, because U.S. oil companies must blend more renewable fuels.
Next year in Brazil may be up to 4.5 billion cubic meters of ethanol exports to the United States, or about 1.19 billion gallons.
The U.S. government requires that U.S. oil companies this year of 2.75 billion gallons of renewable fuels must be blended. Brazilian ethanol prices are cheaper, and thus may be favored by the American oil companies.
2022 U.S. renewable fuel quota may expand to 21.1 billion gallons, for Baxi Jia Industry and Commerce to create more export opportunities.
